EISTEDDFODS
Eisteddfods are competitive festivals of performance which see young people between the ages of 4 and 21 come from the local surrounding area to compete against their peers. Dancers are marked by an adjudicator from the Federation of Festivals and can be awarded bronze, silver or gold medals if they are successful. Competitive solo classes are held in Ballet, Tap, Song and Dance, Modern, Greek, Lyrical, National, Character along with duet, trio and group sections.
Eisteddfods that we compete at during the academic year are:
Longwell Green - October Half Term annually (closing date 31 July) Click the link to enter! http://www.lgefestival.co.uk/ENTRY%20FORM%20MUP%202014.pdf
There are also other festivals further afield that you are most welcome to attend.
In most cases, your son/daughter will be selected for the opportunity to participate in Eisteddfods at the discretion of the principal or relevant teacher and from there further details can be discussed.
Please see our Gallery for pictures from recent Eisteddfods.
DISCLAIMER: If a pupil decides to leave the dance school, under no circumstances must the pupil continue to use dances that have been choreographed by any teachers from Adele Stitch School of Dance, unless permission is sought from the choreographer and Principal.
